The USUP & FIA "One Pager"

In our many meetings with various international representatives and service organizations over the past several weeks, it is often asked if we can share a “one pager” that encapsulates the touchpoints that concisely define USUP and FIA. This information is then shared with potential partner schools around the world to determine if there is a fit for services. For readers of our newsletter, what better time and place to revisit the following highlights of the “one pager”:

US University Pathways (USUP) is an independent Wisconsin-based educational organization located in Wisconsin that is committed to the cause of broadening opportunities for international students to receive an American high school diploma through our college preparatory program of studies. Graduates from our online high school, Forward International Academy (FIA), are eligible to receive conditional admission and generous scholarships to attend universities in Wisconsin and beyond. USUP currently has over 100 students studying at our programs in China, Portugal, and Ukraine.

Here are some key benefits of pursuing the high school diploma with us:

  1. College-Level Courses: Students may enroll in college-level courses while studying at FIA. This unique opportunity allows students to get a head start on their college education and save time and money in the long run.

  2. ESL Support Services: We offer four levels of English training for international students. Each level comprises four months' worth of coursework, ensuring comprehensive language development. Our ESL program is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program.

  3. Seamless Credit Transfer: Students have the flexibility to transfer credits earned at their local school to FIA, providing a seamless transition into our program.

  4. Generous Scholarships: Collaborating with our partner universities in Wisconsin, we proudly offer generous scholarships, making higher education in the US more accessible to our graduates.

  5. International Admission Waiver: Our partnership extends beyond scholarships to include simplified admission processes at select Wisconsin universities for FIA graduates. Benefits include:

    • English proficiency waivers;

    • Third-party credential evaluation waivers; and

    • Conditional admission to our partner universities.

Our current partnership model:

We've established partnerships with local schools in Portugal and Ukraine. They are both British schools that added our American curriculum program to give their students another diploma option. We use a hybrid approach to collaborate with physical schools to deliver our curriculum online. In most cases, students attend the physical school to access our online curriculum and are supported by local teachers in-person as well as FIA teachers-of-record online. Upon completion of their graduation plan, students will earn an American high school diploma.

We are looking for the following partners:

  • IB British schools

  • Local schools

  • Homeschooling students/institutions

  • Education agents
